April Came and Went...

April was such a busy month for us, and it just flew on by! Grey and I were able to drive up to Utah for two weeks while Andrew completed his final exams and celebrate the return of my brother who had been serving in the Thailand Bangkok mission for the last two years. It is so great to have him back home safe. It was quite the reunion, and Grey's first time meeting his Uncle Christian. Luckily, they will have plenty of time to get to know each other as Christian is going to come live with us down here in LV for the month of July. We are so excited!
After Christian returned home, we took a family vacation to Capistrano Beach, CA where my parents had rented a beach house. When I say beach house, I mean right smack dab on the beach. It was amazing! It was so fun to just relax and spend time all together, now that it rarely happens with us living away. Grey and Riley loved playing together, and I think Grey is going to adapt just great with his little brother.
Speaking of little brother, this little guy is growing fast just like Grey did. I am measured two weeks ahead, as I did with Grey. I can't wait to meet this little guy!
Andrew finished his second semester of dental school...wahoo! I cannot believe we have lived here almost a year. It has been such an incredible experience to live down here in Las Vegas and I am so grateful we have the opportunity to be here. Andrew went out with a bang, all A's and one B. He missed all A's by .4 percent! I am so proud of him, he is doing absolutely phenomenal and loving it so much. If any of you know Andrew, you understand that he thrives on education, he simply just loves to learn, no matter how challenging or demanding, he loves it. Anyway, he is back in school now until August. This semester brings on Anesthesia, so he should be coming home looking all fantastic!

And a few family photos to sum it up!

As of late.

Seriously, where does the time go? I have been such a terrible blogger, mainly because I make zero time for it. Well, that's about to change...hopefully. Anyway, last post was announcing our second little baby, whoop whoop! We find out on FRIDAY!!! Any guesses? Take a whack at it!

On another note, we celebrated Andrew's White Coat Ceremony a few weeks back. It was so validating and refreshing to hear and understand everything they have and will continue to go through in their remaining 3 1/2 years of schooling. You know, I have never doubted Andrew or his ambitions, and I am so glad he went for what he wanted. He comes home with all these teeth that he has filled or done work on and he is so excited to show me. I am so glad that he is succeeding and excelling at something he loves. Anyway, to make this worth while, I am incredibly proud of Andrew.  That's my man.

Some things about my little sidekick Grey:
-He is one heck of a momma's boy, and I completely love it.
-He loves to eat, anything and everything. He could hate something and we 'd never know because he eats, and eats, and eats.
-He has two pearly whites, and if his Dad has anything to do with it, they will always remain pearly whites. A plus, he loves his teeth brushed so far.
-He started crawling at 7 months, and that last about two weeks.
-He now is walking around everything. He has some toys to help him get around.
-He loves to be outside, even if we are just sitting on the grass. He loves it. And yes, its 79 degrees here today, so we are outside a lot.
-He loves Oakie, everything about her. And she loves him right back.
-He loves to be naked, well diaper naked. It makes for a challenge when getting him dressed.
-He loves to play in the water, whether it is bath water or dog water really does not matter.
-He has officially eaten dog food.
-He loves to be barefoot. All. The. Time. Just like his momma. Andrew wears socks All year round, all day everyday.
-He is going to be a fantastic big brother. I cannot wait.

Some News.

Well, if you can't handle too much information...STOP reading now. It has been an eventful past few weeks with our little family, with getting ready for Christmas, packing to come home, and finding out that we are expecting our second little one in July. Wait, what? Yes, you read correctly. Here is the story...
After General Conference in October, Andrew came to me and suggested that it was time we have another baby. I simply replied to him, "Andrew, we have a baby." Needless to say, I was not ready, Grey was only four months old, and I was still relishing in all his growth developments. Andrew did not drop the subject, he kept insisting and insisting that I seriously think about this, and to pray and what not. I did not. There was seriously nothing to think about. I was not ready. Moving on. I was due for my annual check up in October, and knew I needed to do it before we came home, so I scheduled an appointment. We went as a family. Weird I know, but there was no babysitter. Anyway, I am waiting in my room, with Andy and Grey and in comes the doctor...who I seriously love by the way. And the first thing out of his mouth? "Well, you are pregnant." Excuse me? How the crap is that even possible. Between taking birth control, and still not having a menstrual cycle due to breast feeding, how the crap is that possible?!? I seriously had a melt down, I was seriously a disaster. And my saving grace? I look over at my sweet husband, who is beaming from ear to ear. So excited. He looked like a little boy on Christmas morning. After some time to take this all in, I am so happy. I cannot wait to meet this little baby who is meant to be here at this time. People will wonder if this was planned as they grow older, and to me it was, in heaven. What is better than that?! I suppose this a lesson learned in following the Priesthood promptings from my husband. Anyway, that's it. Baby Farr #2 will be joining our family in July. Merry Christmas everyone...this may become an annual occurrence.

Just a glimpse.

Dental school has been keeping Andrew rather busy, so I hardly ever get any pictures of him these days. Lucky for me, the "Historian" of the class loves pictures just as much as I do. Andrew has been doing so well in school, not that I am surprised. He has had countless tests, endless hours of studying, and his favorite...lab work! He has been so dedicated, even to the point of bringing it home.

Andrew has also been making so many friends at school, so I have been making friends with their wives, and Grey is making friends with their kids!

I told you we were being watched over.

Seriously, Andrew and I have the best parents out there. Hands down. We recieved this amazing surprise in the mail today with a very special something inside from Andrew's Mom and Dad. How lucky are we. Thank you Mom and Dad, you are THE best!
